Pastor Von, as she is kindly known, is an awesome Woman of God. She is the Pastor and First Lady of More Sure Word Church where she is a diligent co-laborer with her husband carrying out the vision of the ministry. Although Pastor Von was already doing the work of a Pastor she was officially anointed in 2004. She fears God and loves’ her husband, Apostle Daniel L. Akins, to whom she has been married since February 14, 1997. Pastor Von exemplifies a Proverbs 31 woman, one who possesses compassion, and a vast array of abilities that reach from the pulpit to the business world.

        Pastor Vonyett S. Akins oversees the Women’s Ministry, for she truly is a modern day Naomi, where she encourages women to be empowered, healed, set-free, and delivered through the Word of God. She also oversees Christian Education and assists Apostle Akins in the Marriage Ministry.
