Ecclesiastes 3:1

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry”.

Habakkuk 2:3

In 1997, Apostle Daniel L. Akins & First Lady Akins heard and received the call of God into the Pastoral Office.  For several years, Apostle Akins was fathered and pastored by Apostle Ivory L. Hopkins as well as mentored by Prophet Jimmy F. Artis. Apostle Akins received many personal prophecies confirming what God had put on his heart, which led Apostle to read 1st & 2nd Timothy consistently (pastoral letters from the Apostle Paul to Timothy).

In 1998, Apostle Akins was ordained and licensed to function as a Pastor by Bishop John Graham and Prophet Jimmy Artis at the Temple United Church, Inc. located in Wilmington, DE. After much prayer, Apostle Akins found a place for worship service; where he and his family began their journey to fulfill this prophetic mandate to Pastor. The first worship service was held on October 8, 1999 in Seaford, DE, at the Nylon Capital Shopping Center. After three years of ministry, in Seaford, DE, God placed upon the Apostle’s heart to ordain a Pastor to take over the work in Seaford while he relocated to Warner Robins, Georgia.

Upon arrival to Warner Robins, Georgia in 2002, Apostle and his family found a new home within a few days and soon after Apostle started Ramoth Gilead Ministries International in the Ramada Inn with his wife & children; along with some of the neighborhood kids. Even though, they were faced with great financial opposition with the managing of this new ministry, but “THEY WERE NOT DETOURED”. Apostle Akins discontinued services at the Ramada Inn, while seeking God for wisdom and direction.  His cry to God was “If you give me a building to work out of, I know I will get members.” God answered his prayers, not long afterwards Apostle met Pastor William Frambro, who had a church and detailing business. Pastor Frambro asked the Apostle if he would like to use his building for ministry. Apostle agreed and from there he held a thirty day revival with no members apart from his family. The only advertisement was a sheet of paper which stated, “Thirty Day Revival,” that was posted on the front door of the church. From that revival, Apostle gained approximately six to 10 members.
